Hamilton Family Trivia:

*Russ grew up on a dairy farm near Cainsville, MO. He graduated from Cainsville High School and went on to Missouri Western State College graduating with a double major in Accounting and Business Management.
*Theresa and Russ met when he was an auditor in Lebanon, MO. Theresa graduated from Conway High School, and graduated from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, with a B.S. degree in Journalism when she was 30+ years old.
*Russ loves ice cream and watermelon (he has a major sweet tooth).
*Mowing the lawn is a "hobby" Russ really enjoys--he insists on using a push mower. But Sam recently persuaded him to also buy a riding mower, which Sam claims.
*Theresa is an avid reader, writer, and hot tea drinker (her grandkids call her
Grandma Tea). She also likes to sew when she has time (not often!).
*Russ has never played golf in his life.
*Sam likes to ride his bike, do crafts, and watch old movies and classic cartoons.
*Mexican food is a favorite around the Hamilton house. Theresa grew up in San Diego, CA--we can't get enough of those tacos and enchiladas! Most of Theresa's family lives in CA.
*Russ has one sister and one brother who both live in Iowa; his parents live in IA, too.
*Theresa was a professional Flamenco (Spanish) dancer for 11 years in CA (age 5-16).
*Sam really enjoys being a puppeteer and is helping to start a new puppet ministry at FCC.
*Theresa got the Hamilton dog, Angel (she was already named that when they got her), at a garage sale (for free)--Russ often calls Theresa the bargain queen!

Russ and Theresa Hamilton have two adult daughters (Meghan and Rachel) who both live near Lebanon, MO. Pictured at left is Rachel Sloan with her husband, Josh, and their daughter Brandi Taylor, born Dec. 22, 2003.



Brandi is now 2 1/2 years old.
She was our first grandchild--now we have four!




 Below, Natali Brooke Sloan was born June 23, 2006.

 
Meghan Thomas is our oldest daughter; she graduated in 2006 from Drury University with a degree in Elementary Education. Meghan and her husband Cale had their first baby, Clay Steven Thomas on September, 20, 2005; they are expecting their second son any day now (in Sept. 2006).

Yes, Pastor Russ and Theresa are grandparents! In September, 2006, they had their fourth grandchild--WOW!
