Praise & Worship
8:30 a.m.
Pastor Russ Hamilton

Come as you are to this Praise and Worship Service where you will enjoy a variety of music accompanied by visual images in a casual setting.

Music is an important part of all worship services. What makes this service contemporary is the use of several non-traditional songs, projection of the words on the wall, and the casual setting. All the main elements of worship are included in this service: singing, prayer, a sermon (20 minutes or less), communion, and offering.

Communion is celebrated every Sunday at FCC. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please feel free to partake of communion--you do not have to be a member of FCC to take communion. In our contemporary service, we do what is called "intinction" (which is dipping the bread in the grape juice and administering both together).

When it is time for communion, the congregation goes up to the front, row by row. The Pastor and an Elder are there to offer the bread and the wine; participants take a piece of bread, dip it into the cup, put it in their mouth and return to their seats.
